A new patch will be released in the next week. This patch will fix some bugs.
To ensure an improvement, the aim is to fix bugs and crashes and improve the overall gaming experience. A new patch should appear within the next seven days. After that, the development will continue, but with a break over the holidays. CDPR announces "Patch 1" for January and "Patch 2" for February. This is to solve the biggest problems that last-gen gamers have with Cyberpunk 2077. The respective patch notes should be published before the launch. The expectations of the patches shouldn't be too high: CDPR states that the updates will not result in the performance of the PS5, XSX or high-end PC, but that it will come closer to this standard than it is currently.
By the way, PC gamers should also receive regular updates and bug fixes, but apparently the pressure is not quite as great as with the last-gen versions. But users of AMD components in particular should see it differently, because Ryzen CPUs are currently running below their capabilities and ray tracing should also be enabled for Radeon RX 6800 and Co.
